Dominique and I had been talking about making an album for about 3 years now!! Finally our schedules allowed us to hook up and the timing couldnt have been more perfect.
Dom came to me and said she wanted to do a very raw sounding project where she just bomb’d in lyrically– I actually wanted to do a conceptual album with her somn like the Hello and Goodbye i did with Stik, but in our phone conversation Dom sounded super hungry. I could hear anxiety, excitement and fury in her voice so I picked some beats that matched that same passion– Outta the 7 I sent she picked these five and now you have Carpe’ stay tuned for Diem
