Whatupwidit?!!!!!!
Alive and Well album release is right around the corner!!! Super shouts to all yall that have been hittin me up on twitter wanting to hear the record. Its motivating and really kicks me into gear on those rare days when I need it. So a lil bit about the record– Alive and Well is a follow up to our Hello and Goodbye EP– be sure to download that if you haven’t heard it already. Alive and Well picks up right were that on left off–then leads into a blast of soulful feel goodness!!! All new production and All new bars which makes this record different from the first, because on hello goodbye we used some older sounds– For all you tech heads out there Alive and Well is the first record ive ever done where each song has been multi tracked then mixed… all the other junts you’ve heard from me have been straight 2 track out the mpc.
No features on this record except for singer/composer Reggie B

Bowie’s version was much more funky than the nirvana version– although nirvana made the story connect more because its so raw– and the pedal effect on kurts guitar is just silly!!

CBE is an idea that Jane and I came up with a while ago. Most of the time our TV is on the Food Network or on Cartoon Network, hahaha!
We were having this dope convo about all the illest cartoon shows back in the day– so we made a huge list. Meanwhile, I was trying to figure out how to approach my instrumental project. So I decided to put the two ideas together.
All I’m doin is choppin old cartoon videos, muting the volume and adding my beats as back drop music. The cartoon really has nothing to do with the beat. LOL!
I bet your wondering how it ties together? Well, when I was younger I shared a bedroom with my older brother, Mac. Saturday mornings I wanted to watch cartoons and he would wanna bang the radio! So moms would make me mute the TV so he could hear the radio. The result: me watching Scooby Doo while listening to Rakim, De La Soul, Tribe, EPMD, NWA, Doug E. Fresh…ect.
I love my brother, so in a weird way this is kind of an ode to him, for influencing me. So while you’re jammin to these joints, you can thank him.

LA is one of the most amazing places I’ve ever been. Lots to see and seems to be plenty of opportunity for a young artist. My homie Cali Nate and I got an awesome 20 min slot to Open for pharcyde in front of a packed out key club. During sound check I had a chance to chop with fat lip and he shared dropped some gems on me. Sound check was dope and the sound at key club was outta this world. So much bang to where I knew as soon as my set started the crowd was gonna be swept away by the low end.
Our set was flawless! They gave us 20 min so nAte and I decided to split it down the middle. They came, they saw, we shut it down. So dope! …. LA I’ll see you soon! Very soon!
